Post Title: Mechanic

Location: Dingwall

Hours: 37 hours per week

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £34,458 - £38,210 per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To carry out the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of Council owned fleet vehicles, plant and equipment, providing a high quality mobile mechanical service to ensure assets remain safe, compliant and operational.

Requirements

Time Served HGV Motor Vehicle Mechanic.

Qualified to City and Guilds Part 1 and 2 or Scotvec National Certificate (or similar) in vehicle maintenance and repair.

Current drivers licence is required, preferably holds a valid Category C (HGV) driving licence.

This is a mobile position.
