Quality Assistant (12 month FTC) - London (2-3 days in office) - Competitive Salary

I am excited to be partnering with a global food manufacturer, with operations in over 35 markets, who are looking for a Customer Quality Assistant to join their team in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Quality function, playing a key role in ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You’ll work cross-functionally to investigate issues, support audits, and drive continuous improvement across a complex supply chain environment.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate and maintain customer questionnaire requests, tracing and monitoring progress through internal systems
Complete technical forms using regulatory, supplier, and product information to meet agreed service levels
Support customer complaint handling and drive timely resolution
Identify trends and provide reporting on quality performance
Take ownership of customer online portals, responding to technical queries relating to ingredients, product specs, quality, safety, and regulatory matters
Coordinate third party lab testing and analysis, including sample submissions, reporting, and follow up activities

In order to be successful

1+ year experience in a quality, technical, or R&D role within the food, ingredients, or supplements industry
Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and safety standards
Knowledge of food legislation and labelling requirements
Strong understanding of BRC, HACCP, GMP standards
Experience with supplier quality and audit processes
Full permanent right to work in the UK
