Immediate Temp-to-Perm & Temp Opportunities | Flexible Compressed Rotas & 24-Hr Shifts

Scottish Autism is urgently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and compassionate Support Workers to join the Appletree Community team in Auchterarder. This service provides high-quality 2:1 support for an individual with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs, with options for immediate temporary starts or temp-to-perm transitions.

The Role & Environment

• Active & Social Lifestyle: Support a individual who loves hosting parties and social gatherings at home, cooking, accessing the community, and taking trips in his own mobility vehicle.
• Balanced Care: Assist with daily routines, domestic activities, relaxed low-arousal downtime, and full personal care (including bathing and continence support).
• Flexible Shift Patterns: Offers 24-hour shift blocks, long days, or compressed 2-to-3-day rotas designed to accommodate commuting and work-life balance.

Candidate Requirements

• Driver Status: Full UK Driving License (strongly preferred) to drive the service user's mobility car.
• Communication: Excellent spoken English fluency to navigate complex communication barriers.
• Personality & Values: Friendly, social, proactive, and dependable.
• Experience: Prior care experience is welcomed, but not strictly essential-full, specialist autism and complex needs training is provided directly by Scottish Autism.
