Industrial Recruitment Consultant

Interaction Recruitment

Recruitment Consultant – Industrial

Location: Northampton

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission

Build Your Desk. Build Your Network. Build Your Career.

Industrial recruitment moves fast — a client needs ten warehouse operatives for a 6am start, or a factory floor short-staffed overnight, and the whole operation grinds to a halt without the right people in place. That's where you come in.

At Interaction Recruitment, we don't just fill shifts. We build the relationships that keep the UK's warehouses, factories, and production lines running — and we're looking for a driven Industrial Recruitment Consultant to own that mission from our Northampton office.

Why This Role Is Different

This isn't admin-heavy recruitment. It's fast-paced, high-volume, relationship-driven, and genuinely rewarding when you get it right. You'll be the person a client calls at 4pm needing 15 pickers for the next morning — and the person who delivers. That's the kind of trust that builds a desk worth having.

What You'll Be Doing

• Owning and growing your own client and candidate portfolio across the industrial sector
• Winning new business with warehouses, manufacturers, logistics hubs, and production facilities
• Sourcing and qualifying operatives, pickers, packers, forklift drivers, and production staff at pace
• Managing the full recruitment cycle — from urgent same-day requests to longer-term contracts
• Building a reliable, ready-to-deploy candidate network you can call on instantly
• Negotiating rates and terms that work for both clients and candidates
• Keeping every placement fully compliant — right to work, inductions, site requirements
• Smashing weekly and monthly billing targets, and being recognised for it

What You'll Bring

• Recruitment experience, ideally within industrial, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing
• A genuine understanding of fast-turnaround, high-volume recruitment
• Confidence speaking to site managers, operations directors, and candidates alike
• Sharp business development instincts and the drive to chase new opportunities
• Resilience — industrial recruitment moves quickly, and you'll need to move with it
• A commercial, target-driven mindset with the hunger to build something that's yours

What's In It for You

• Uncapped commission — your billings, your reward, no ceiling
• Full training plus ongoing development, so you're never standing still
• Real career progression in a business that promotes from within
• An established brand and reputation that opens doors for you
• Modern tools and systems that let you focus on selling, not admin
• A team of experienced recruiters who'll back you, not compete with you
• Pension, holiday benefits, and performance incentives on top

Ready to Build Something That's Actually Yours?

Industrial recruitment rewards people who move fast, build trust, and never drop the ball when a client needs them most. If that sounds like you, this is your desk to build.
