HGV 1 Driver - Stoke-on-Trent

Pertemps are looking for an experienced HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver to join our client’s busy depot based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, regular work , with competitive PAYE rates.

Regular block bookings available from 1st November!

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Pay rates: From £21.44 to £24.57 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 10 – 12hour duties

Job Type: Regular, Ongoing

Your new HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver role will include:

• Safely loading and unloading cages of letters and parcels
• Working with both single and double-deck trailers , with some pushing and pulling involved
• Average 10 - 12hour shifts
• Various start times as this is a 24-hour operation
• Weekend work is also required for this role

What we’re looking for in a HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver:

• Minimum 1 years’ HGV Class 1 driving experience , with recent Class 1 work within the last 6 months
• A valid C+E licence , CPC card , and digital tachograph card
• A maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
