The role

This is a high-activity, phone-based outbound sales role. You'll spend most of your day speaking with business owners and decision-makers, uncovering telecom needs, opening opportunities and closing new business. Success here comes from consistency, resilience and call volume, and the more you put in, the more you earn.

A typical day looks like:

• Calling a mix of cold lists / warm leads / lapsed prospects
• Follow-ups, Email outreach and asking for referrals
• Updating your pipeline in the CRM
• Team huddles, call coaching and sharing what's working

Key responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to UK businesses
• Speak with owners and senior decision-makers to identify their communication needs
• Sell VoIP, business broadband, leased lines and unified communications
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close
• Keep your pipeline accurate and up to date in the CRM
• Hit and exceed monthly targets
• Hand closed deals over smoothly to our onboarding and support teams

What we're looking for

Essential

• Comfort making a high volume of outbound calls
• Resilience and a positive response to rejection
• Confidence speaking with business owners and senior people
• Motivation from targets and commission
• Organisation and self-discipline in managing your own pipeline
• Coachability and a willingness to learn

Ideal

• 2 to 5 years of B2B outbound sales or telesales experience
• A track record you can back with numbers
• Telecoms, energy, merchant services or similar background (helpful, not required)
• No experience? No problem. If you're earlier in your career but bring the right attitude, we'll train you.
• Backgrounds in hospitality, retail, recruitment, lettings or competitive sport often make excellent sales people.
