We are working with an established construction business who are looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to lead and oversee health and safety across their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain health & safety policies, procedures and standards.
Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with Irish health & safety legislation and ISO 45001.
Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions.
Deliver health & safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.
Maintain safety documentation, including method statements, safety statements and training records.
Work closely with management and site teams to promote a strong safety culture.
Drive continuous improvement across health & safety systems and processes.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' health & safety experience within the construction industry.
Roofing experience would be advantageous.
Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance.
Experience with ISO 45001 and safety management systems.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Experience carrying out audits, risk assessments and safety training.
Proficient in Microsoft 365.
Full clean driver's licence.
