Wills and Probate Fee Earner

We are looking for a Private Client Solicitor to join the Ripley office of a well-respected East Midlands practice serving clients for over 100 years.

What you'll be doing:

Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection cases.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and external contacts.
Uphold and promote the firm's positive image and reputation.
Support colleagues, Directors, and Heads of Department with marketing, training, and other initiatives.
Supervise and assist junior and support staff, including recruitment and training where required.
Use case management, billing, and financial systems effectively.
Work flexibly to complete tasks and undertake other duties as appropriate.
Foster teamwork and collaboration across the firm.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR requirements.
Adhere to firm policies on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Health and Safety, and Anti-Money Laundering.

Requirements

Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5-10 years PQE in Private Client matters
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Experienced in managing workloads, meeting deadlines, and achieving billing targets
Skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships with clients and contacts
Excellent written and verbal communication, methodical, accurate, and IT proficient
Empathetic, client-focused, self-motivated, and proactive
Good understanding of AML and GDPR requirements
Alignment with the firm's ethos and heritage
Satisfactory DBS, credit, reference, and ID checks.
