Salary: £28,328 - £46,914 (Incremental progression throughout the band is available)

About the Role

The Digital Department is looking to appoint a suitably qualified, dynamic Teacher of Computing and ICT for a full-time Maternity Cover. Our growing department offers students the highest standard of Digital education across a variety of courses. boasts outstanding IT facilities, the latest technology, links with both national and local businesses and a strong, supportive department.

The successful applicant will be able to teach Level 1-3 across Computing and Information Technology areas. It is also desirable for candidates to possess an understanding of BTEC and OCR. We also require applicants to have:

• A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed).
• A good honours degree in a relevant subject discipline or significant experience within the IT industry.
• Skills in at least one Programming Language, such as C# / C++ or Python.
• Ability to utilise new technologies to engage, inspire and excite students in the subject area.
• A student first, creative, fun and exciting approach to teaching and learning in the classroom.

This is a full-time maternity cover role, commencing on 5th January 2027.
