We're partnered with a specialist recruitment business with an established track record in robotics and deep tech. Their US robotics desk has been built through long-term relationships, specialist market knowledge and a reputation for delivering hard-to-find engineering talent.

They're now looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of the software side of their US robotics market .

This is a genuine 360 opportunity for someone who enjoys business development, building relationships and developing a specialist market over the long term.

The opportunity

You'll join an established US robotics team working with ambitious early-stage companies, technology spin‑outs and some of the most exciting businesses operating in robotics and autonomy.

The team operates within a highly specialist market, where relationships matter. Many clients are multi‑hire accounts, creating opportunities to develop long‑term partnerships rather than relying on one‑off vacancies.

There is also an established European team working alongside the US desk, providing opportunities to collaborate on larger accounts and international requirements.

The business actively invests in developing its presence within the US market, including attendance at major industry conferences, events and visits to client sites.

The long‑term objective is simple: become a recognised specialist in your market, build a strong client portfolio and develop a career path towards leadership and directorship.

What you'll be doing

Run the full 360 recruitment lifecycle across the US robotics software market.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
Identify, win and develop new business opportunities.
Turn initial placements into repeat, multi‑hire client relationships .
Represent highly skilled software engineers to leading robotics and technology companies.
Deliver against live vacancies while developing candidate pipelines ahead of demand.
Advise clients on hiring strategy, talent availability and market trends.
Take ownership of your desk and balance delivery with long‑term business development.
Develop a reputation as a specialist within your chosen market.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced 360 recruitment consultant with a demonstrable track record of billing against target.

Experience within robotics or deep tech would be advantageous, but it isn't essential. Strong knowledge of the software recruitment market, commercial ability and a genuine interest in developing a specialist niche are more important.

You'll ideally have:

2+ years' 360 recruitment experience with a proven billing record.
Experience recruiting across software, engineering or deep‑tech markets .
The ability to develop strong, long‑term client and candidate relationships.
A proactive, self‑motivated and target‑driven approach.Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
The commercial confidence to win new business and develop existing accounts.
The ambition to own a market and build it over time .
