Billing Specialist – Central London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Billing Specialist to join an established and growing professional services firm based in Central London.

Offering hybrid working with two days from home each week , this is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in credit control and billing who is looking to develop their career within a supportive business that genuinely invests in its people.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller , you will take responsibility for a range of billing, credit control and cash management activities, working closely with both internal stakeholders and key clients.

Key responsibilities

• Liaising with key internal stakeholders across the sales teams to obtain accurate billing information and resolve queries
• Building strong relationships with clients, finance teams and wider business stakeholders
• Preparing and issuing client invoices and credit notes
• Processing billing adjustments and resolving invoice discrepancies
• Allocating incoming cash accurately and efficiently
• Reconciling billing records and maintaining accurate financial information
• Proactively managing outstanding invoices and chasing overdue debt
• Supporting the management of aged debt and resolving payment queries
• Providing weekly cash forecasting and reporting

About you

We are looking for someone who is bright, organised and highly detail-oriented , with a collaborative approach and the interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

You will need:

• Previous experience within credit control and billing
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Working knowledge of accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines
• A confident, professional and team-oriented approach
