Legal Indemnity Underwriter

We’re excited to be working with a growing specialist insurance business and are looking for an experienced Underwriter to join its Legal Indemnity team.

Responsibilities

Underwrite residential and commercial Legal Indemnity risks within agreed authority
Assess complex risks and make sound underwriting decisions
Build strong relationships with brokers and clients
Contribute to underwriting strategy and process improvements

Requirements

4+ years’ Legal Indemnity underwriting or relevant broking/conveyancing experience
Strong knowledge of defective title and/or estate administration risks
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
A commercial, proactive approach
