London Rowing Club (LRC) seeks a Coach for its Women’s Squad, joining the coaching team in delivering a rowing programme in support of the Club’s objectives to win at Henley Royal Regatta (HRR) and other high status events in open and Masters categories.
This role focuses on coaching duties for the development of the Women’s Squad at LRC across sweep rowing and sculling. The aim is to produce crews capable of winning the club and intermediate level events at HRR, the championship events at Henley Women’s Regatta and finishing in the top 10 at the Women’s Eights Head of the River Race on a consistent basis.

The position also carries responsibility for athlete recruitment and identifying and managing volunteer coaches for the women’s programme.
The Squad coach will create a positive, safe and inclusive training environment, delivering technically excellent coaching. The individual will have strong organising and communication skills as well as being able to demonstrate their ability to operate to a high performance standard. We expect that, within this environment, this individual will support and guide the development of women athletes, coxes and coaches.
