Opportunities like this don't come around very often. We are looking for ambitious individuals to join our truck sales division as trainee sales executives. This isn't simply an entry sales role; it's an opportunity to learn directly from some of the most successful sales professionals in our business and build a career with genuine long-term progression. You will be mentored, trained, and coached by colleagues who have years of experience in identifying, generating, transacting and maximising sales opportunities in the industry. Most of our senior leaders began their careers in this very role, including one of our two owners.

About the Role

As a Truck Sales Trainee, you will learn every aspect of the sales process within the sector. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting customer enquiries, learning our products, attending customer visits and developing the commercial skills needed to become a successful salesperson. This is as hands on as it gets. You'll receive coaching and ongoing support, helping you build confidence and capability in a fast-paced and exciting environment. The opportunity is there to become an exceptional sales professional. What you achieve will be determined by the effort, determination and commitment you bring. You will learn how to:

1. Identify sales opportunities
2. Maximise trust and build rapport with a wide variety of customers
3. Qualify sales opportunities correctly
4. Build and present customer proposals
5. Build value into customer proposals and learn how to negotiate profitable commercial agreements
6. Maximise each opportunity by upselling additional options / products
7. Navigate customer objections

Once your trained & out in the field, you would possess the skills to

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of our Mercedes-Benz truck product range.
• Generate new business opportunities
• Sell a variety of finance and maintenance packages to match your opportunities
• Build relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Attend customer meetings and conduct product demonstrations.
• Navigate sales opportunities, through robust negotiation and strong communication skills.
• Accurately maintain customer and sales records.
• Support customer enquiries and quotations.
• Manage a sales pipeline and crucially, convert opportunities.
• Achieve personal sales and development objectives.
