FLT Driver

Manpower UK seeks an FLT Driver for a temporary role in Duxford, paying up to £16.26 hourly. Working within a busy stores and warehouse team, the successful candidate will handle daily equipment safety checks, receive and unload deliveries, store goods efficiently, and verify items for damage or discrepancies. A valid external forklift licence—counterbalance or reach truck is essential. Prior warehouse or stores experience is desirable, alongside a strong commitment to health and safety. This position offers potential for permanent employment following a successful temporary period. Standard working hours apply, with duties focused on safe, accurate handling of stock and deliveries.

To be successful in this role, you must hold: A valid external FLT licence , either: Counterbalance Reach Truck Previous warehouse or stores experience is desirable A strong commitment to health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily safety checks on equipment and vehicles
• Receive, unload and store deliveries safely and efficiently
• Check deliveries for damaged or missing items
• Quality check products and materials
• Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck FLTs safely and effectively
• Load and dispatch goods accurately
• Deliver materials to production lines in line with operational requirements
• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch
• Conduct stock counts as required
• Ensure all lifting and manual handling activities are carried out safely
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures
