Warehouse Operative / Driver's Mate

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives / Driver's Mates to join our client based in Uddingston on an ongoing basis.

This is a varied role , with duties changing depending on the day's requirements. You could be working as a Driver's Mate/Porter one day and in the warehouse the next , all for the same company.

The Role:

• Heavy lifting is required
• Working as a Driver's Mate/Porter
• Loading and unloading goods
• General warehouse duties
• Assisting with deliveries
• Working as part of a team
• Following health and safety procedures

Shift Options:

Dayshift:

Monday to Friday

Start: 5am or 6am

Finish: 5pm or 6pm

Backshift:

Monday to Friday

2pm - 10pm

Pay Rate: £15.73 per hour

This is an ongoing position for the right candidates.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or manual handling experience preferred
• Comfortable with heavy lifting
• Reliable and punctual
• Good physical fitness
• Able to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to carry out both warehouse and Driver's Mate duties
