Are you a Science Graduate looking to gain valuable experience within a secondary school?

We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Science Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Tower Hamlets, E1 .

This is an excellent opportunity for a Science Graduate looking to develop their experience in education and build a strong foundation for a future career in teaching.

The role:

• Supporting students across the secondary school
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting students with Science and STEM subjects
• Helping students understand challenging scientific concepts
• Working alongside class teachers and the SEN team
• Supporting students with additional learning needs
• Helping students build confidence and independence
• Assisting with classroom activities and behaviour support

The ideal candidate:

• Degree in Science or a related subject
• Strong scientific knowledge
• Passionate about education and supporting young people
• Confident, patient and approachable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Interested in developing a career within education
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential

DBS required - applicants without a DBS can be supported through the process.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Science Graduate to gain hands-on secondary school experience while developing valuable classroom, pastoral and SEN skills.
