Our programme based in our Birmingham office, will give you exposure, experience, training and support so that, whatever skills and perspectives you bring, you’ll build on your potential. Our programme is designed to provide you with everything you need to confidently launch a career in the property industry. Following the ‘Commercial’ APC pathway, you will experience an unparalleled breadth of opportunities and explore a diverse range of projects. You’ll get exposure to an extended portfolio of clients, customers and properties and we will help you discover where your strengths and interests are best placed.
Your APC rotation will involve placements in some of the following teams:
We’re dedicated to seeing you fulfil your potential at Knight Frank, so we take learning and development seriously. If you did not study a RICS accredited degree, you’ll undertake your MSc in Real Estate whilst on the programme to ensure you have all the knowledge and tools to flourish in your career in property.
Each rotation with a different team in our business will be measured as a learning experience within your portfolio and by completing your APC, you’ll become a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a professional body which will expand your network and horizons as you progress through your career.
You will join the firm in September 2027, with the aim of completing the graduate scheme and qualifying as a surveyor in November 2029 (RICS Autumn Sitting). If you do not have a RICS accredited degree, you will complete the RICS accredited MSC alongside your work. You will join the firm in September 2027, with the aim of completing the graduate scheme and qualifying as a surveyor in March 2030 (RICS Spring Sitting).
We believe the best learning and development happens through in-person collaboration. As a result, this programme is primarily office-based, although hybrid working arrangements may be available depending on the team and business requirements.
At Knight Frank, you'll join one of the world's leading independent real estate consultancies, with over 125 years of history and a global network spanning more than 50 territories.
What makes Knight Frank different is our commitment to partnership. We believe the best outcomes come from working collaboratively, building long-term relationships and delivering trusted advice to our clients. It's a culture that encourages curiosity, values fresh perspectives and empowers people to make a meaningful contribution, regardless of career stage.
You'll have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, gain exposure to real projects and clients, and develop your understanding of the property industry in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our values shape everything we do:
We're committed to helping our people fulfil their potential while creating positive outcomes for our clients, communities and each other.
We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
Candidate Usage: We recognise that AI tools can be useful for research and preparation. However, we encourage you to ensure that any application you submit reflects your own experiences, motivations, and achievements. The strongest applications are those that are authentic, personalised and written in the candidate's own voice. Where AI is used, it should support your thinking rather than replace it.
How Knight Frank Use AI: We may use AI-enabled tools to enhance the recruitment experience, including supporting candidates during the application process and assisting with aspects of application review. However, every application is reviewed by a member of our Early Careers team, and all recruitment decisions involve human assessment and judgement. We are committed to ensuring that candidates are evaluated fairly, consistently, and holistically.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds and encourage candidates to request any reasonable adjustments needed throughout the recruitment process.
