Legal PA | Property & Infrastructure Are you an experienced Legal PA looking for your next opportunity? Join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract and bring your skills and experience to a role where you’ll play an important part in supporting a busy and successful team. We’re looking for a Legal PA to join our Property & Infrastructure team in Edinburgh. You’ll be part of a high-performing and supportive team, working closely with fee earners and colleagues to help ensure everything runs smoothly. As a Legal PA, you’ll manage a varied and fast-paced workload, with no two days quite the same. From diary management and billing to coordinating day-to-day priorities, you’ll provide proactive and trusted support, using your organisational skills to keep things moving and deliver a high-quality service. We’re committed to creating a collaborative and supportive working environment where people feel valued, empowered and encouraged to develop. Our hybrid working approach also provides flexibility, helping you maintain a healthy work/life balance while staying connected with your team. We’re looking for an experienced Legal PA who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working collaboratively and can confidently manage competing priorities. You’ll bring strong organisational and time management skills, a proactive approach and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels. Full details can also be found in our job specification. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this opportunity in more detail, please contact Jo McMonagle at or on . Burness Paull reserves the right to close this vacancy early if a sufficient number of applications are received for this role. Closing Date: 20 October 2026 At the heart of Burness Paull is our independence. It’s this that gives us the licence to shape our business and culture in the sustainable way we want to, supporting the needs of our people, our clients, our wider community and the environment. It means freedom to pursue a philosophy of always being human in attitude and high-performing in approach. For our people that means recognising everyone is different and valuing those differences. A culture that celebrates openness and where genuine advice and relationships are championed. An environment that encourages everyone to aim for success by being the best version of themselves.
That means
And because we value the contribution that every one of our team makes, we make sure everyone is rewarded over and above the usual benefits you'd expect from a leading law firm.
