Farm Worker job in Somerset

Full-Time Farm Worker Required We are looking for a full-time Farm Worker to join our team on a busy livestock farm, primarily involved in the management of beef cattle and tractor driving.

Main Responsibilities:

• -Daily care and welfare of beef cattle
• -Feeding, bedding, and health monitoring
• -Assisting with handling, weighing, and movement of stock
• -Maintaining high standards of animal husbandry and welfare
• -General farm duties and machinery operation as required
• -Regular tractor driving, depending on experience

Who Were Looking For:

• -Experience working with livestock is desirable but not essential
• -A good understanding of livestock welfare and husbandry
• -The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• -A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• -Livestock handling and machinery experience would be an advantage
• -A full driving licence is essential
