As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a crucial part of a passionate team, helping vulnerable young people through their challenges and creating positive change in their lives.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Residential Support Worker, your role will include:

• Supporting daily routines : Supporting children with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities to help them develop independence
• Educational support : Encouraging and supporting children in their learning journey, assisting with homework, and helping them develop new skills
• Leading recreational activities : Organising and leading recreational activities, including fun events and holidays, to increase engagement and enhance well-being.
• Emotional support : Providing guidance, care, and person-centred support to help children navigate difficult moments
• Documentation : Completing care plans, reports, and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintaining a safe environment : Ensuring the home is clean, secure, and well‑organised
• Team collaboration : Working closely with colleagues to create a positive, nurturing environment

We are seeking individuals who are:

• Caring and Compassionate : A genuine passion for making a positive impact on vulnerable children’s lives
• Resilient : Able to handle emotionally demanding situations and provide stability to children in need
• Team-Oriented : Comfortable working as part of a collaborative and supportive team
• Communicative : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, colleagues, and external partners
• Motivated : Committed to providing high-quality care and working toward the best outcomes for children and young people
• Flexible : Willing to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

Previous experience in residential care is preferred but not essential—we provide full training to support your success in the role.
