The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) invites applications for a funded four-year Industrial Doctoral Landscape Award studentship in Emergent Photonics at the joint NPL-Loughborough collaboration. The project aims to develop ultra-low-noise microcombs for precision timing, combining experimental photonics with theory.
Applicants should have a STEM degree with at least a 2:1 honours and a strong interest in photonics.
