Job Title: Panel Beater

Salary: £54,600 per annum (£21 per hour) with an increaseon completion of 6 month probation

Location: York

Hours: 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 2 Saturdaymornings depending on business needs.

They are looking for a Panel Beater to join their AccidentRepair Centre in York. You will be responsible for carefully repairingdamaged vehicles to their original condition, delivering high-quality resultsthat meet our insurers’ rigorous standards. With a keen eye for detail and astrong understanding of vehicle repair, you will work efficiently in a modernfast-paced clean environment, collaborating as a team player and consistentlymeeting tight deadlines.

This role will include, but is not limited to:

• Performpanel repair and replacement to the highest standard.
• Demonstrateconfidence in MET skills, such as rebuilding doors and fitting frontpanels and other vehicle components using the correct tools and equipment.
• Weldand bond replacement panels and components securely.
• Applyfillers and sealants to smooth surfaces and prepare them for painting.
• Alwaysmaintain a clean and organized workplace.
• Ensureall equipment and tools are used in accordance with safety requirementsand maintained to a high standard.
• Adhereto all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, to preventaccidents.
• Followcompany procedures, policies, practices, and management instructions.
• Maintaina positive and enthusiastic attitude throughout the workday.

• Provenexperience as a vehicle panel beater in an automotive repair environment.
• Confidentin repairing Hybrid and EV vehicles using appropriate methods.
• In-depthknowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair.
• Self-motivated,enthusiastic, and highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Collaborativeteam player, eager to support colleagues.
• Capableof completing tasks from start to finish within set timeframes and to ahigh standard.
• Ableto work effectively under pressure and manage high volumes of work.
