Employment Type: Full Time
Location: London
Compensation: GBP 54,244 - GBP 60,272 / year
The PR & Communications team is responsible for communicating London's growth narrative and positioning London & Partners as the authoritative voice on growth. Through its convening power and storytelling capability, the team showcases the city's future and the breadth and depth of London & Partners' expertise to high-value audiences around the world.
The Senior PR Manager plays a central role in delivering London's growth narrative, seeking opportunities across digital channels, traditional media, in-person activity, and 'Team London' networks to promote London's growth sectors. These include deep tech - such as quantum and AI - green innovation, the experience economy, and life sciences.
The role targets priority audiences, including investors, talent, event organisers, and visitors, across key markets including the UK, Europe, North America, India, and China.
The role is responsible for developing compelling content and formats that build audience engagement and contribute to London's economic growth, including by helping to attract foreign direct investment into London and delivering other measurable benefits for the city.
The role manages London & Partners' PR presence in key markets, working with agencies and freelancers where required, and provides line management, direction, and support to two PR Managers.
Working closely with the Head of PR & Communications and Head of London Brand Marketing, the role supports the development of London's growth narrative. This includes using audience insight, media monitoring, and data to identify emerging narratives, develop proactive communications opportunities, and respond appropriately to misinformation or disinformation that could affect perceptions of London.
The role also works with the Head of PR & Communications and Senior Communications Manager to strengthen London & Partners' position as the authoritative voice on growth, while supporting wider reputation, issues and crisis management activity.
London's diversity is its biggest asset. At London & Partners, we aim to ensure our workforce reflects the diversity of the city that we promote. We encourage applications from people of any age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or assignment, faith or disability. We also appreciate that many people require flexibility in their working patterns and encourage you to talk to us at interview about any flexibility you may need, be it full-time, job-share, or part-time.
We encourage applications from all sections of the community.
