A top law firm is looking for an Employment PA to join its Employment team in London.

The team advises employers and senior executives on everything from day-to-day HR issues to complex disputes, strategic exits and investigations. Clients span financial services, sport, education, culture and charity, plus high-profile individuals. It is a friendly, collaborative team of around 60 partners, associates, practice assistants and trainees.

What you will do

• Manage diaries and plan ahead around fee earners' workloads
• Act as the first point of contact for fee earners
• Produce high-quality typed work in house style, quickly and accurately
• Prepare bills as required by fee earners
• Prepare AML documentation and chase clients for the right paperwork
• Run conflict searches and identify the correct work type
• Keep files up to date, closed and archived, including off-site storage records
• Record business development meetings in the CRM and support marketing communications

What you bring

• Previous secretarial experience in a law firm (essential)
• Employment law experience (helpful, not essential)
• GCSE grade C or level 4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• A proactive, detail-focused approach and total discretion with client information

The package

• Salary: 42,000
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm, with flexibility to go beyond normal hours when demand requires
• Working pattern: agile, with a minimum of 40 percent of your time in the office. Flexible patterns considered from 0.8 FTE
• Permanent role
