We are looking for a Production Planner to take ownership of short- and medium-term production planning and scheduling, ensuring manufacturing activity is effectively planned and production targets are achieved.
The role:
Develop and manage production plans and schedules across multiple manufacturing processes.
Monitor production progress, capacity and constraints, proactively addressing potential delays.
Work closely with Production, Procurement, Materials, Quality and Engineering teams.
Use MRP/ERP systems to ensure materials and components are available to support production.
Maintain accurate planning data, BOMs, lead times and stock requirements.
Monitor planning KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Take ownership of planning issues and drive solutions through to resolution.
We're looking for:
Proven Production Planning / Production Scheduling experience within manufacturing.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity and production constraints.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems - SAP would be advantageous.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Leadership or supervisory experience is desirable, but we are also interested in experienced planners with clear leadership potential and aspirations to progress.
