Temporary Accountant

Temporary Financial Accountant Job near Exeter, Devon Hybrid working

We are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to support a busy finance team through year-end and audit on a temporary basis, starting as soon as possible until the end of December. This hands‑on role will focus on preparing statutory accounts and acting as the key liaison with external auditors.

Key responsibilities:

• Year-end statutory accounts preparation
• Coordinate and manage the external audit process
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
• Respond to auditor queries and information requests

About you:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Strong experience in year-end accounts preparation
• Proven track record of managing external audits
• Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Immediately available

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant looking for a short term assignment within a supportive and collaborative finance team.
