Speech and Language Job Description

• Speciality -Speech & Language Therapist
• Location -Southall
• Start date -2nd October 2026
• Contract Length -Initially 1 month
• Pay Rates -£31-33 per hour
• Band 6/7 - depending on experience
• Hours: 4 days per week
• Setting: Critical Care / Acute
• We are looking for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join the team in Central London on a locum basis.
• The successful SLT will provide cover across critical care and complex caseloads, working as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• 1 year(s) post graduate experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work
• DBS or Police Check
• HCPC Registered
• HCPC-registered Speech & Language Therapist
• Strong acute hospital experience
• Critical care experience
• Confident managing complex caseloads independently
• Dysphagia competent
• Experience assessing and managing complex swallowing and communication needs
• Confident working within an acute MDT
