If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to lead our maintenance team at our lovely care home, Fornham House.

Fornham House is well hidden and has many private areas on the grounds for privacy and quiet space. Residents can relax in the extensive gardens with seating areas surrounded by colourful flower beds and mature trees. The home has several lounges offering plenty of space for social activities, and there are patio and garden areas for summer and outdoor relaxation.

The quality and appearance of our homes create the first impression for visitors and are a source of enjoyment and immense pleasure for our residents and their families. Our maintenance teams take huge pride in maintaining our buildings to the highest possible standards.

What would a typical day look like?

• Overseeing the upkeep of our home including painting, decorating, repairs and basic plumbing and electrical work
• Ensuring our residents remain safe and comfortable by adhering to good health and safety practices at all times

Previous experience within gardening, decorating, plumbing and electrical work is essential and we can provide you with a thorough induction and training programme to further develop your skills along with the support and guidance of a well-established team who truly value their colleagues.
