The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lymphoma Clinical Nurse Specialist to deliver comprehensive specialist haematological care to patients and their families, ensuring the highest standard of personalised nursing care is delivered in partnership with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
The haematology department at the Western comprises a 19 bedded inpatient ward and ambulatory day treatment unit. We are also a CAR-T cell therapy centre.
Haematology Day Treatment at the WGH provides both systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and supportive therapies to a wide range of both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions providing care in 18 chairs and a further 12 chairs in an extended day case area to facilitate the transfer of care from an in-patient to out-patient model.
