589 - Social Care Personal Assistant...

Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.

A little about myself: I am a young girl living in Manselton. I have ASD I am very fast and busy. I do not understand the danger of roads, strangers, and surroundings. I do not like built up and loud areas this can make become upset and throw myself to the floor and cry uncontrollably. I will need a PA who is energetic, patient, and fun. I love to tell stories play games and visit parks that have open areas. I am polite and loving and have a great fun energetic personality.

Driver required to take me out.

Female preferred.

Hours of work 4 hours term time plus 5 miles 8 hours during holidays 10 miles

Rate of pay. £13.50

Essential:

• Going to the park
• Play with me
• Make sure I am safe

I will need my PA to:

• Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
• Be confident, mature and have patience.
• Be dependable and arrive on time.
• Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
• Be adaptable and flexible.
• Be supportive but not take over.
• Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.

Concerning the position

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
