Account Executive – Trade Credit Insurance

Location: Flexible (Home-based, Office-based in Manchester, or Hybrid)

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Trade Credit professional to join a growing, entrepreneurial team where your ideas, relationships, and drive to succeed will be genuinely valued.

From a standing start, you’ll be responsible for growing, supporting, and maintaining a portfolio of trade credit insurance clients, using your knowledge of the insurance industry to build strong, trusted, and profitable relationships.

We’re looking for someone who is as comfortable building a network of introducers as they are making direct approaches to prospects; a proactive individual who thrives on connection, communication, and commercial results. Once the client is live, you will continue your relationship, building out to a solid long‑term portfolio of clients

What you’ll do:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Trade Credit Insurance clients.
• Build new business opportunities through introducers, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients on policy renewal, coverage, risk, and claims, alongside your Account Handler.
• Develop long‑term, trusted relationships with clients, underwriters, and colleagues.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and reputation of Ascott Trade Credit as a specialist, client‑focused broker.

Who you are:

• An experienced Account Executive or Credit Insurance professional (broker or insurer side).
• Confident, fun, people‑orientated, and proactive; someone who takes ownership and enjoys working within a happy, supportive team.
• Skilled at building rapport, creating opportunities, and following through with genuine care for clients.
• Motivated by growth and success, both personal and professional.
