Tramper Driver

Position: Tramper Driver

Salary: £45,000 + Overtime

Hours: Full Time - 5 shifts per week - Sunday to Thursday Evening / Friday Morning

This is a permanent position and an exciting opportunity to work for a market leading company, offering a competitive salary, overtime opportunities and a consistent working pattern.

As a Tramper Driver, you'll be a core part of the transport team, completing planned routes throughout the week and working exclusively with Amazon drop-and-swap trailers, with no manual handling required.

Responsibilities

• 5 shifts per week, starting on Sunday and finishing on Thursday evening or Friday morning, depending on the Sunday start time
• Full route plan provided for the week
• Route provided on Thursday for the following week's work
• Tramping work, with overnight stays away from home
• Information provided on where to park and sleep during the week
• No manual handling required
• Completing routes safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all relevant driving and working-time regulations are followed
• Carrying out vehicle and trailer checks as required

Skills

• Minimum of 3 months' tramping experience
• Full UK HGV licence and relevant qualifications
• Experience with overnight tramping and working away from home
• Reliable and punctual
• A methodical, professional approach to work
• Understanding or experience of drivers' hours and working-time regulations
