Located in the beautiful city of Manchester, our Nursing Home is nestled in its own grounds and provides residential, nursing, and palliative care to 60 residents. The Home has received a good rating across all inspected categories from the CQC.

Responsibilities of the Unit Nurse Manager within the Nursing Home include:
Taking charge of leading, directing, and supporting the Nursing and Care teamManaging staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage at all timesActively recruiting and maintaining optimal staffing levelsMentoring junior staff membersEnsuring completion of mandatory and required training for all staffConducting staff supervisions and appraisalsEnsuring compliance with CQC and internal policies within the UnitManaging and monitoring medication processes and complianceConducting relevant audits to ensure internal and external compliance
Requirements for the Unit Nurse Manager role:
Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN)Active NMC PINEvidence of ongoing professional developmentSound knowledge of CQC regulationsDemonstrated experience in leading a Nursing team and delivering person-centered care, including care planning
