You can earn between £875 to £1,120 per week by living with clients in their homes. Placements typically last 2 to 4 weeks, helping clients remain in familiar surroundings.

We are a family-run care provider, founded by Paul Burley and Carly Burley, helping people remain independent at home.

We hold a CQC registration with a 'Good' rating , are acknowledged among the Top 20 Home Care Groups , and have been recipients of homecare.co.uk awards for seven consecutive years ) . Our clients consistently rate us 10 out of 10 .

If you have at least 6 months of experience, NVQ Level 2, and an enhanced DBS, we have immediate start roles available.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Live-in Care Jobs in Bristol – What the Role Involves

At least 6 months professional care experience

NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate

Confident with medication administration

Right to work in the UK (we cannot offer visa sponsorship)

Willingness to commit to 2–4 week rotations

Caring attitude and communication skills

Good cooking skills

Physical fitness for moving and handling

An enhanced DBS on the update would be ideal, or be willing for us to apply for one for you?

What Is Live-In Care?

Live-in care in Bristol is different from domiciliary care or care home work. You’ll stay in your client’s home for 2 to 4 weeks, providing personalised support, companionship and care. You’ll have your own private bedroom and meals included.

Claire, one of our experienced live-in carers, explains: "The beauty of this arrangement is that I don't just work in your home; I live in it. No rent or housekeeping worries, just a dedicated focus on your well-being. I share my days with a remarkable 90-year-old lady celebrating life. I do the housekeeping and cook delicious food. The Dorset Apple Cake is her favourite treat! After three weeks of devoted service, I take one week off, whether for a rejuvenating holiday or exploring the charming towns across the UK."

Your Role as a Live-In Carer

You’ll provide care to clients in their Bristol homes, helping improve their quality of life.

Your daily duties include:

Personal care – washing, dressing, toileting, maintaining dignity
Medication administration – safely managing prescriptions and accurate MAR charts
Meal planning and cooking – preparing nutritious food
Companionship – meaningful conversations, activities, accompanying to appointments
Light housekeeping – keeping the home clean and safe
Shopping and errands – prescriptions, weekly shopping
Monitoring and communicating – observing health changes and liaising with families

You may support someone living with dementia, recovering from a stroke, managing Parkinson’s disease, or receiving palliative care.

You’ll also become a trusted companion. The small details matter - how someone takes their tea, their favourite music, or simply being a reassuring presence.
