Team Manager needed for our Fostering Recruitment & Support Team in Buckinghamshire, paying £42 ph!

• Working Pattern: 37 hours per week

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to lead our Fostering Recruitment & Support Team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the recruitment of high-quality foster carers while ensuring robust support systems are in place to enable them to provide safe, stable, and nurturing homes for children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Fostering Recruitment & Support Team Develop and implement effective strategies to recruit and retain foster carers
• Oversee the assessment and approval process for prospective carers
• Ensure foster carers receive high-quality supervision, guidance, and support
• Monitor team performance, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for children
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
• Experience within Fostering or Children’s Social Care
• Strong knowledge of fostering regulations, safeguarding procedures, and statutory frameworks
• Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
• Excellent assessment, analytical and report-writing skills
• Strong communication and partnership working abilities
