People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Semi Skilled Operative to join our well-established client based in Bootle .

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or Machine Operative.

Rates of Pay

• £13.00 per hour

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 16:30

Day-to-Day Duties

Your duties as a Semi Skilled Operative are:

• Operating basic machinery, tools, and equipment
• Following instructions, work schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Assisting skilled workers and supervisors with more complex tasks
• Performing repetitive and routine tasks accurately and efficiently
• Assembling components and products
• Monitoring machinery and reporting faults
• Carrying out quality checks on finished and in-process items
• Packing, labelling, and preparing goods for dispatch
• Mixing materials, handling tools, and undertaking basic installation work
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Loading and unloading materials

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Semi Skilled Operative , you will need:

• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Quality control experience
• Proficiency in using hand tools
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Good organisational skills
• The ability to follow instructions and work procedures accurately

• Full training provided on site
