Vision for Education are looking for enthusiastic, caring and committed Learning Support Assistants to work across welcoming schools in Loughton and the surrounding Epping Forest area .

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a genuine difference to their learning, confidence and development.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Work alongside teachers to support pupils in the classroom.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs and SEND.
• Help children develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
• Assist with classroom activities and learning interventions.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other school staff.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

About You

• Confident supporting children with a range of learning needs.
• Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Calm and confident when managing challenging behaviour.
• Flexible and willing to support pupils wherever needed.

Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, SEN Support Worker, Youth Worker, Nursery Practitioner or similar would be advantageous, although this isn't essential.
