Transport Administrator

We're recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a friendly, close-knit team at our client's busy logistics operation in Haydock (WA11 9FS).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, communication and problem-solving. You'll be working in a supportive environment where full training is provided, giving you the opportunity to learn and develop within a well-established transport operation.

Pay Rate

£13.03 per hour

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday
09:00am - 5:00pm
37.5 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing

As a Transport Administrator, you'll support the day-to-day running of the transport office by:

• Producing reports, dashboards and KPI information
• Handling customer enquiries and tracking deliveries
• Supporting drivers through the debrief process
• Processing time and attendance information
• Assisting with payroll administration
• Updating transport and warehouse systems
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Working closely with transport, warehouse and customer service teams
• Supporting general office and operational administration duties

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good attention to detail
• Confident using computer systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organised and able to manage a busy workload
• Previous administration experience is beneficial but not essential
