Business Development Executive required for our Ipswich-based client. Our client has ambitious plans for growth and is looking for new talent who have the potential to develop within their organisation, and as a Business Development Executive, you will be key in helping them achieve this. We are looking for motivated and driven individuals who are keen to use their sales experience in generating and pursuing leads until they have closed them by carrying this out via calls, emails and face-to-face meetings. In Addition to this, you will be developing a marketing and business strategy to promote the company’s services to prospective clients to have them sign up for their services.

The Role

Maintain and organise records of all leads, contacts, and prospective clients.
Support the Business Development team by updating the CRM.
Actively assist in the creation of sales information documents for prospective clients.
Sales research to create lead lists to support the outreach activities.
Create and update an extensive database of potential clients.
Support the Commercial team with any additional requests.
Daily tasks may change due to immediate needs of the business

The Person

Must possess at least 1-2 years of sales/business development experience
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Well-presented and confident meeting new people
Highly self-motivated and ambitious to develop
Essential to be confident using Excel and Google Sheets
Knowledge of Salesforce is preferable but not essential.
WordPress page creation is advantageous but not essential.
Able to work independently and use initiative
Reliable, trustworthy and professional
Flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as the role develops
Must possess full driver’s licence with flexibility to travel and attend client meetings
