Christmas Temporary Team

Make This a Summer to Remember – Join Our Team!

Looking for a summer job that’s full of energy, fun, and great people? Whether you're pot-washing in the kitchen, delivering delicious dishes to guests, shaking cocktails behind the bar, or running food to the garden tables – we’ve got a role for you!

We have flexible shifts available all summer long – whether you want the occasional shift or something more regular. Perfect for students, summer job seekers, or anyone ready to jump into hospitality and make some memories.

What’s in it for you?

• Up to £13.50 per hour (depending on your role and experience) + a share of Tronc
• Flexible shift patterns to suit your summer plans
• Up to 33% off meals for you and up to 6 guests when off duty
• Hotel discounts – 33% for you, 20% for friends and family
• A clear development pathway – progress all the way to General Manager
• Access to The Lifestyle Card – over 5,000 discounts with local and national brands (completely free for Upham team members!)
• Service awards and a little something on your birthday
• Refer a friend or a Chef and earn up to £1,000

What we’re looking for:

• Aged 16 or over
• A confident communicator who’s organised, upbeat, and guest-focused
• Someone who can balance energy with professionalism
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• You must have the right to work in the UK

Experience in a bar or restaurant is a bonus, but it’s not essential – we hire based on attitude and potential.

What you’ll be doing:

• Giving our guests a warm, friendly welcome
• Taking food & drink orders, handling payments
• Serving drinks (hot, cold, and alcoholic)
• Keeping the pub looking spotless and inviting
• Helping your managers and teammates deliver an unforgettable guest experience
• Learning, growing, and enjoying every shift!

Why join Upham Inns?

This isn’t just a summer job – it’s your chance to shine, learn, and have fun. You’ll gain real skills, restaurant and bar training, and the opportunity to build a hospitality career if that’s your vibe. Our teams are tight-knit, welcoming, and passionate about giving guests a great time.

So if you’re energetic, motivated, and ready to make this summer count – we want to hear from you!
