2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe is looking for a First Line Manager to cover Maternity Leave within our portions department (A shift) on aTemporary Contract for up to 12 months. This role attracts a pay rate of £17.00ph.

About The Role

Reporting to the Shift Manager, as aFirst Line Manager you will have 4 direct reports (Team Leaders) and approximately 40 indirect reports. You will take ownership of production line output across various lines in the cutting operation, ensuring each line operates efficiently, safe & to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ,support , anddevelop your team to meet daily KPIs and customer expectations.
• Always Ensure adherence toWorld Class Manufacturing Practices and quality standards.
• Maintain strong line discipline and follow specific packing and production plans - no overpacking, no deviations.
• Drive productivity andmorale while maintaining staff welfare and safety.
• Takeownership of the training, coaching, and development of your team.

It's essential that you have experience in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment along with demonstrable experience of leading and motivating a team.

You'll be a confident and motivated leader with a background in FMCG or food manufacturing. For those that don't come from food production specifically – we'll provide full food safety training.

• Strong understanding of productivity and performance-based operations
• Knowledge of GMP and quality standards
