Children's Therapeutic Support Worker

If you have experience working with vulnerable young people under the age of 18, supported children in an SEN environment, worked with challenging behaviours and are looking for your next steps in your career this may be the role for you!

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join my clients 4 bed residential children's home supporting young people with problematic sexual behaviours. This is a trauma-informed environment where patience, resilience, consistency and genuine care are essential.

This role requires real dedication and heart, as you will be supporting young people who may have experienced significant trauma and challenging life experiences.

The role also requires flexibility, with long shifts including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in shifts.

What's on offer:

Opportunity to earn up to £34,000 including bonuses

Performance related bonus, bonus for good/outstanding ofsted, bonus for length of service

The Role:

As a Support Worker, you will:

• Support children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs
• Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
• Act as a positive role model
• Support young people who have experienced trauma in a therapeutic way
• Encourage positive activities, routines and life experiences
• Help young people develop independence and confidence
• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
• Uphold strong safeguarding practices

This role includes long shifts, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins, so flexibility is essential.
