Summary The governors of our Lady's Catholic college are looking to appoint a science laboratory technician to support the teachers and students with all technical / practical aspects of learning in the science department generally and in biology in particular.

This is a part time role of 20 hours per week, term time only. The closing date is 19/10/2026 at 9am. The salary quoted is full time equivalent; if successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro – rata basis. Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.

Essential Qualifications

• Appropriate specialist qualifications in science

Desirable Qualifications

• A relevant honours degree or equivalent

Essential Experience

• Ability to support colleagues and work in a collaborative fashion
• Computer literate

Desirable Experience

• Minimum two year work experience in a relevant technical/ scientific role
