Nanny Housekeeper Job

Live out Nanny/Housekeeper, New Town, Edinburgh

Greycoat Lumley’s client are a Professional Couple relocating from London seeking an experienced and highly professional Nanny/Housekeeper to look after their sociable, sweet-natured and fun-loving 18 month old daughter. This is a long-term role where they family are looking for long term commitment.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, warm, patient, fun, organised and with a good attention to detail.

There is a weekly cleaner but light household duties would be a help to the smooth running of the household (e.g. dishwasher, laundry).

Willing to travel to Aberdeenshire with the family for the occasional pre‑agreed trip away or during holidays. Flexibility to do the occasional pre‑agreed evening or weekend proxy parenting.

Duties to include:

• All Childcare duties and routines
• Planning outings, going on walks or attending baby classes and playgroups
• Cooking healthy meals for the child
• Activities with the child
• Keeping the house organised and tidy (cleaning up after child; laundry and ironing; light cleaning and tidying)

Start Date: 5 January 2027

Schedule: Ideally 4 days a week or 3-5 days

Hours: 8.15am – 6.15pm

Salary: £20 gross per hour/depending on experience

Location :Edinburgh

Driving: Preferred but not essential; could be insured on family car
