Hair & Beauty Lecturer

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a prestigious further educational colleges in London to help employ an experienced professionals on a part-time contract for their Hairdressing and Barbering Lecturer role.

Role: Hairdressing and Barbering Lecturer
Location: Paddington.
Type: Part Time (3 days per week).
Salary: Up to £36 Per hour.
Interview: Asap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching, training and assessment across Level 2 and Level 3 Hairdressing and Barbering programmes.
• Deliver practical and theoretical sessions covering hair cutting, styling, colouring, barbering, grooming, salon practices and industry techniques.
• Assess learner work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement and progression.
• Provide tutorial and pastoral support while promoting learner welfare, safeguarding, employability skills and professional standards.

Required:

• Minimum 5 years' recent practical industry experience within Hairdressing, Barbering or Hair & Beauty.
• Qualified to Level 3 in Hairdressing, Barbering or a relevant Hair & Beauty discipline.
• Recognised teaching and/or assessing qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
