Sales & Client Support Executive

Bright, ambitious and looking for a role where you can really develop?

We're looking for a bright, personable and ambitious individual to join a small, friendly and successful company in Uxbridge.

This isn't a role where you'll simply sit processing paperwork all day.

You'll become an important part of a close-knit team, working alongside experienced Account Managers and dealing directly with business customers. You'll learn how the commercial side of the business works and gain experience across customer relationships, sales support, quotations, pricing, projects, orders and account management.

You might be a recent graduate looking for your first real career opportunity, or you may have completed your A levels and already gained some useful office, customer service or administration experience.

Either way, you'll need to be bright, articulate, organised and genuinely interested in learning and progressing.

What you'll be doing

You'll work closely with the sales team and gradually take responsibility for supporting a portfolio of business customers.

Your day will include:

• Speaking with customers and building strong, professional relationships.
• Responding to enquiries by telephone and email.
• Preparing quotations and pricing information.
• Supporting Account Managers with customer accounts and projects.
• Managing orders from initial enquiry through to delivery and invoicing.
• Helping prepare information for tenders and larger customer projects.
• Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to keep everything moving.
• Producing reports and working with data in Excel.
• Keeping customer and CRM information accurate and up to date.
• Investigating queries and finding solutions when problems arise.
• Learning about products, customers, pricing and the wider commercial operation.
• Taking on more responsibility as your knowledge and confidence grow.

Who are we looking for?

We're deliberately keeping the background fairly open because attitude and potential are key.

You may be:

• A graduate looking to start your commercial career.
• An A-level educated candidate with some good office or business experience.
• Working in customer service, sales support or administration and ready for a more challenging opportunity.

Whatever your background, you'll need to be:

• Bright, confident and quick to learn.
• Naturally personable and comfortable speaking with customers.
• Client focused - you'll genuinely care about giving customers a great service.
• Professional and articulate with strong written communication skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with numbers, pricing and Excel.
• Curious and willing to ask questions.
• Proactive rather than someone who waits to be given the next task.
• Ambitious and keen to develop your commercial knowledge.
• Some previous office, administration or customer-facing experience would be ideal, but we're not looking for years of experience.

The opportunity

This is a small company with a genuinely friendly team, so you'll be noticed, supported and given the opportunity to learn.

You'll work alongside experienced people who can teach you the business and, as you develop, you'll be encouraged to take greater ownership and responsibility.

The role is Monday to Friday and fully office based in Uxbridge, so it's important that you're happy working on site as part of the team.
