Sales Assistant – Whitby – Plumb Centre
Salary: £26,695 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Responsibilities
As a Sales Assistant based in our Whitby branch you’ll be responsible for:
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
- Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
- General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders.
Requirements
- Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial
- Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position
- Great communication skills and a customer-first approach
- Great team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch
- A full UK Manual Driving licence is preferable
Working Hours & Contract
This is a full time, 40 hour permanent role – Monday to Friday between 8am – 5pm. Saturday working 1 in 2, 8am to 12pm, paid as overtime.
