At System C, we deliver technology that helps transform education, health, and social care services across the UK. We are looking for an Associate Application Support Analyst to join our Application Support team and help our customers get the very best from our software solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their technology career who enjoys problem-solving, learning new skills, and helping others. You will receive structured training, mentoring, and ongoing support from a collaborative team that is committed to your development.

What you'll be doing

  • Investigate and resolve technical issues using logs, SQL, and diagnostic tools
  • Work closely with Product, Development, and third-party partners
  • Replicate issues to identify software defects and support long-term fixes
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the support process
  • Take ownership of assigned customer accounts and ensure incidents are resolved within agreed service levels
  • Support both hosted and on-premise customer environments

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who is curious, motivated, and eager to learn.

You will ideally bring:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A basic understanding of technology, software, or IT systems
  • An interest in SQL, databases, or programming
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience with Jira, remote support tools, server environments, or application support is beneficial but not essential.

At System C, we are on a mission to improve outcomes through technology. You'll be part of a supportive and inclusive team where learning, development, collaboration, and continuous improvement are encouraged every day. Our culture is built around working as one team, taking ownership, always striving to improve, and doing the right thing.

We offer:

  • Structured training and mentoring
  • Clear career progression opportunities
  • Ongoing technical and professional development
  • Flexible benefits and wellbeing support
  • Recognition programmes that celebrate success and achievement

At System C, we believe great work happens when flexibility and collaboration come together. All our roles are offered on a hybrid basis, with colleagues spending a minimum of two days each week in the office to connect, create, and grow together. (Excludes associate and field-based roles).

We prioritise transparency in our job requirements and selection criteria, ensuring they are based solely on the essentials needed for effective job performance. We consciously avoid assumptions that could skew our perception of a candidate’s suitability for hire.

Our recruitment practices are designed to ensure that no applicant is unfairly disadvantaged by procedures or requirements that disproportionately affect protected groups without being essential for the job.

For every position, we develop a detailed job description and person specification. This approach maintains our focus on the true demands of the role and the skills, experience, and qualifications necessary. During interviews, we involve multiple interviewers where possible to further mitigate unintentional bias, thereby promoting a fair and equitable hiring process.
