Multis UK Limited is looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our team and work on real production systems and online marketplace projects.

Form of employment : part-time, full-time, contract

Location : Remotely

Job responsibilities

• Backend development in PHP and SQL
• Development and maintenance of REST APIs
• Working with databases, search and integrations
• Bug fixing, testing and improving existing applications
• Using modern AI development tools under guidance from senior developers

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of PHP or another backend programming language
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Basic understanding of Git and REST APIs
• Logical and analytical thinking
• Willingness to learn and follow guidance from senior developers
• Ability to communicate and work reliably in a remote team

Advantage

• Experience with PHP 8+, MySQL or PostgreSQL
• JavaScript or TypeScript
• Docker and Linux
• Elasticsearch
• Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
• Automated testing
• Experience using AI coding assistants
